COVID-19 - Company Update (24-03-20)
In this ever changing landscape, we would like to keep our training providers regularly updated during this challenging time.
The AITT office will be primarily be operated by a minimum number of staff over the coming months. Other members of the team will be working from home, to conduct business as usual.
There may be a slight delay in posting certificates and ID cards. Importantly you will see very little difference in how AITT administrates as a business.
We have decided to keep the office phone open an extra hour each working day, to help you give you more time to balance work/life, with people working from home.
We will be open until 6pm Monday to Friday.
We would like to inform you that during the current climate, all accreditation visits will be conducted remotely via video/screen share call.
Anyone who is due a visit between 24th March - 30th June will be contacted directly with regards to what is needed to complete this audit.
As a result, and to help our training providers financially, during this time, AITT will be reducing the cost of an audit.
The normal rate will return once government advise changes, and we can conduct our audits normally when non-essential travel is permitted.
If a training provider is unable to facilitate this, we will be offering a 3 month extension of their audit expiry date.
(The extension will be deducted from their following accreditation term)
We created a poster for the training providers with training centres. You may wish to display this to help remind all employees and candidates of the government advice. Please download from the members area of the website.
Anyone who has a membership renewal that is due between 24th March – 30th June, and would like to defer part of the payment to later in the year, please contact the AITT office and we can discuss your options.
We hope this helps, and as usual, AITT will be here to help in any way we can.
