Membership Survey: Feedback and Changes
Our recent member survey revealed some excellent feedback and suggestions, and we are pleased to announce that we are putting some exciting plans in place as a direct result.
Thank you to all those who took part in our members’ survey. The input we receive is invaluable in helping us develop our products and services.
Of those who took part in the survey, 81 percent are very satisfied or satisfied with the current levels of support from AITT and 89 percent would recommend AITT.
We understand that there are always areas that can be improved, and we have already begun to make several changes to enhance the support members receive from AITT. We also have a few things in the pipeline which we will be looking to implement over time.
Here are a few of the new initiatives AITT is working on:
The AITT council has recently created several dedicated support committees who will each be responsible for a different aspect of the organisation. Members will be able to contact these committees regarding specific matters, enabling more open lines of communication and support.
- Standards Committee (standards, training and technical enquiries)
- Membership Committee (member benefits, disputes, changes)
- Finance Committee (treasury, project investment)
- Appeals Committee (complaints, appeals)
Representatives of these committees will provide regular reports at AITT council meetings.
The contact details for the new committees will be shared in due course.
Dedicated standards updates
We will be sharing separate “Standards Update” emails with members when any standards change. This is to ensure that members receive timely, prioritised information.
New Technical Manager
AITT is recruiting a full-time Technical manager, who will oversee the audit processing and reporting. They will be responsible for ensuring that questions arising from audits are dealt with swiftly and will provide additional technical support to all members.
Improvements to ID cards
We are in the process of revamping our traditional ID cards, which will feature a new way for instructors to manage and update their qualification. The ID cards will inlcude a QR code, which will link to a webpage containing an instructor’s details. The webpage can be updated when required, so instructors will not need to replace their card when their details change.
Online chat tool
We will be adding a chat service to our website, which will help answer the most commonly asked questions, and will provide members with another line of communication to AITT.
Our online ACORNS uploading tool will be reviewed to assess whether improvements can be made.
Digital test paperwork
We will be adding additional digital test paperwork to our library over the coming weeks, which will give training providers more opportunities to go fully paper free.
