New ABA testing standards for Rider and Pedestrian Pallet Trucks

The ABA have released new testing standards for Rider and Pedestrian Pallet Trucks (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7)

The new standards are available for AITT accredited training providers to use now, however mandatory enforcement is not required until 1st December.

*These do not include the theory question and answers in, the standards with the answers in are available via the members area.

As a result of the new standards, A8 (Rider) Stand on Pedestrian Reach, has been replaced by D3. We feel this is a positive move by the ABA and places the truck along side the D1, D2 testing standards.

AITT will be issuing revised training standards both A's and B's and D's in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
