AITT launches new manual handling course

Following high industry demand, AITT is pleased to launch a new manual handling course for warehouse operations.

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates that Musculoskeletal Disorders, including those caused by manual handling, account for 40% of all work-related ill health.

This course is designed to reduce these kinds of injuries and is suitable for instructors who are themselves highly skilled in the correct methods of manual handling.

The course can be delivered to novices and can also be provided as manual handling refresher training.

For businesses to comply with Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, employers must ensure that this training be carried out for all warehouse employees, and sufficient records must be kept should training need to be verified.
